What width are rubber flooring rolls available in?

Our rubber flooring rolls are available in standard widths of 1m, 1.2m, 1.4m and 2m. For commercial gyms and warehouses, 1.4m or 2m wide rolls minimise waste and seam count. Rolls are available in lengths from 5m to 20m depending on the product grade.

How is rubber flooring roll installed?

For floating installations, lay rolls out and allow to acclimatise to room temperature for 24 hours. For permanent bonded installation, apply rubber flooring adhesive to the sub-floor with a notched trowel and roll firmly with a heavy roller to eliminate air pockets.

What is the difference between smooth and textured rubber flooring?

Smooth rubber flooring is easier to clean and better for hygiene-critical areas. Textured finishes — stud, coin, diamond plate, ribbed — provide enhanced slip resistance especially when wet. Diamond plate and coin patterns provide similar grip; ribbed profiles channel water away effectively.

Can rubber roll flooring be used for horse stables?

Yes, 17-18mm thick vulcanised rubber matting rolls are ideal for stable flooring. Rubber stable matting provides thermal insulation from cold concrete, reduces joint strain on the horse, minimises bedding use and is easier to clean than bare concrete.

Is rubber roll flooring suitable for stairs?

Rubber stair treads are specifically designed for stair applications with an integral nosing edge. Standard rubber flooring roll is not recommended for stairs as it lacks the structured nosing edge required for safety. Always use purpose-made rubber stair treads on staircases.
