The active substance in this Premium Hard Surface Algae Remover, nonanoic acid, effectively removes algae and green material from hard surfaces by destroying cell membranes, thereby preventing photosynthesis and other physiological processes. Results can be visible within just a few hours, with some surfaces remaining free from algae for several months.
Unlike other de-greening chemicals that require large volumes of product and water, this remover can be applied at low water volumes. Just one litre of the product mixed with water will treat well over 500 m² using a 15-litre knapsack.
The remover can be applied twice per year at a rate of 1.8ml/m² or 18l/ha.
